-VICTORIA TIMES COLONIST

RESTAURANT DECOR/STYLE:

Main Dining Room: stylish, sleek contemporary interior design. The restaurant has a long banquet and the focal point is an ornate fireplace, (consisting of mantle pieces that originate from the Young Building at Camosun College’s Lansdowne campus. Carved in 1910, from Denman Island sandstone, the pieces were recently replaced by polymer stone).

Bar: wrap around, frosted, glowing glass bar.

Velvet Room: semi-private room with 2 large square tables. Tables, chairs and pillows are set low for less formal dining . The room is situated directly beside a turn of the century custom brick vault, which now houses Temple Restaurant’s wine cellar.
